Parametric Representation of Boundary Flux in Multi-Region Fluid Flow Problems

One of the ultimate goals of reservoir engineering is to bundle the many individual factors characterizing a particular reservoir and to forecast performance for the purposes of meeting company expectations, fulfilling contracts, comparing development scenarios, etc. In particular, one is seeking the capacity of wells to inject or withdraw fluids and sustainability of production rates. The well...

Mesh Generation from Boundary Models with Parametric Face Representation

The triangulation of boundary representation geomet-ries (BRep geometries) is neccessary for display generation , stereo-lithography applications and also nite element mesh (FE mesh) generation. The accuracy of the tesselation is of great signiic-ance not only for stereo-lithography and rendering algorithms but also for FE mesh generation, since even minor simpliications of the geometry of the ...

Well-Posed Boundary Conditions for the Navier-Stokes Equations

In this article we propose a general procedure that allows us to determine both the number and type of boundary conditions for time dependent partial differential equations. With those, well-posedness can be proven for a general initial-boundary value problem. The procedure is exemplified on the linearized Navier–Stokes equations in two and three space dimensions on a general domain.

Boundary value problems for nonlinear fractional differential equations with integral and ordinary-fractional flux boundary conditions

In this paper, we consider a new class of boundary value problems of Caputo type fractional differential equations supplemented with classical/nonlocal Riemann-Liouville integral and flux boundary conditions and obtain some existence results for the given problems. The flux boundary condition x′(0) = b cDβx(1) states that the ordinary flux x′(0) at the left-end point of the interval [0, 1] is p...

Critical parameter equations for degenerate parabolic equations coupled via nonlinear boundary flux

* Correspondence: [email protected] Department of Mathematics, Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics, Jiujiang, Jiangxi, 332000, PR China Abstract This paper deals with the critical parameter equations for a degenerate parabolic system coupled via nonlinear boundary flux. By constructing the self-similar supersolution and subsolution, we obtain the critical global existence pa...
